Don't mind me, I'm just talking to myself

 I see Google hasn’t put much effort into keeping this product of theirs up-to-date. Talk about a dated interface. I visited someone else’s blog here and talk about an experience from 25-30 years ago. Sheesh. At least a Wordpress blog can seem like it’s relevant and not dated.

 More and more I read about the disaster that is twitter. Now Elmo wants to turn twitter into an everything app. Elmo has fucked up twitter turning it into a fascists’ playground, with morons and trolls in control. I’m observing this from afar, just as I observe Fox “News” from afar, as I have no intention of helping to fund entities that are intent on destroying American democracy, like they’ve already destroyed American business.

In this sense, it has a negative connotation, linked to the egoistic pursuit of short-term gratification by indulging in sensory pleasures without regard for the consequences. In the state of modern day America, folk hedonism rules. The average American is a gutless loser, incapable of dealing with adversity. My libertarian alter ego feed on Twitter is full of cowardly, self-indulgent assholes perpetually whining about how unfair life is. You’d think it was the end of the world, that they somehow deserve anything their little heart desires. The modern day American is a lazy, stupid fool, readily manipulated by corporate America whose only concern is to bilk the losers. 

 Well, it’s officially hot here in Las Vegas. I was sitting outside reading a geek book on my ipad and the ipad gave up the ghost. The screen showed some graphic and said the ipad had to cool down before it could be used more. The thermometer says its 112 at 2 pm. I guess its time to revert to physical books, at least they don’t overheat at temperatues seen here in Vegas. 

 Well, Twitter has gone off the deep end again. First, i have to prove that i'm not a bot, then the page i'm trying to view in Safari on my ipad refuses to display correctly. The web site constantly crashes and reloads, then Safari says the web site is erroring out. Reload and the same thing happens again. You'd think that after 14+ years in business, they'd know how to program a web page. I guess not.

The only thing the far right wing media knows to do is to deflect blame. So much for personal responsibility that the far right espouses. The far right never accepts responsibility, it only demands others to follow the rules they set.
