Don't mind me, I'm just talking to myself

I'm not going out tonight because the roads still seem treacherous. Have a Happy New Year everyone.

Well, I just went out to get some milk because I was almost out. I drove to the super market (an experience itself since I really couldn't see where I was going after the windshield fogged up) and bought some more things including a Chocolate Decadence cake. The only milk they had was Creamland so I got ripped off on that one 'cause it wasn't on sale. It does taste pretty good. Any way, I have to tell you about this Chocolate Decadence cake. It's made out of this goo that's kind of like a slightly cakie hunk of dark chocolate fudge. It used to be covered with a chocolate syrup, but it still has a whipped cream top with shredded dark chocolate. If you let it sit out (it needs to be refrigerated ) a while it's sinfully delicious. I got back to the apartment and noticed that this car in the lot kept getting stuck. I went over and found a mother and daughter that had been out in this really atrocious weather (crazy). I thought that the 8 inches of snow we got in Albuquerque last week was something, but now we have 16 inches of snow that came over the past two days. The previous snowfall had mostly melted; the temperatures have been warm enough to keep the snow from piling up. At least we can use the precipitation. Hope it melts soon, because we may be getting more on Tuesday.
