I got a reply from Solo partially answering my questions. Yes, you do just hook up the corresponding leads. What I’m supposed to do with the black lead with no connector is a mystery still unsolved. I wrote back to Solo and haven’t heard back from them. You can see the extra black lead in the picture below:

Sorry, no political rants lately, I’ve been busy with reading my computer related texts and haven’t been using my time to read most of my mail and browsing Twitter to fuel my outrage. Politics is a huge time waster, since, as a libertarian, I’m never going to see any politician that adheres to my political views.

Well I ordered a Solo Guitar on the web and it came today. I got the TCK-10-SD, which is a tele style guitar with a maple burl top and single binding on the top. Some dark wood fingerboard. Here’s a picture of the body: So far so good, but there’s no documentation in the box and they tell you the paperwork is online. There is this in the box Go to the website and voila, no documents for my model, which has solderless connections. All the connectors are labeled except for a connectorless black wire. So i opened up a support ticket on the Solo website. Now I wait.
