National Catholic Prayer Breakfast and the Catholic Church

The National Catholic Prayer Breakfast is a fascist organization, which seems to fit well with Catholic Church hierarchy, which is corrupt like most centers of power. I mean, how many times do sexual and child abuse charges get swept under the carpet? And it’s been going on for several decades. The Catholic Church hierarchy needs to pay attention to the Bible, especially Matthew 6:24. They’ve definitely chosen Mammon as their guiding principle.

This is (in part) what Wikipedia has to say about the organization:

President George W. Bush addresses the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., April 13, 2007.
The National Catholic Prayer Breakfast is an annual event that takes place in Washington, D.C. It was created in response to Pope John Paul II's call for a new evangelization.

History[edit]

It was established in 2004 and its "founding circle" members included Joseph CellaLeonard Leo, and Rick Santorum, among others. It connected prominent Catholic politicians and representatives of the Catholic clergy, businessmen, political and religious activists.[1]

It featured President George W. Bush as a keynote speaker in the 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 assemblies.[1][2][3]
Archbishop Raymond Leo Burke delivered the keynote address at the 2009 prayer breakfast, which also featured Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia as guest speaker.
House Speaker Paul Ryan spoke at the 2016 National Catholic Prayer Breakfast event.[4]

Not exactly a stellar set of speakers, in fact most speakers could be considered far right in political outlook, most are not Catholic.
