Collusion in the Capital Police

 Well NBC News reports in Apple News:

The images of the Capitol incursion – broadcast on national television Wednesday afternoon – were jarring.

Windows were smashed. Offices were ransacked. Members of the mob manhandled Capitol police officers.

That the vast majority were allowed to leave the building and carry on demonstrating marked a stark contrast to the massive law enforcement response that greeted Black Lives Matter protesters during the summer.

District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine lamented what he described as the disparate deployment of assets “the federal government put forward with overwhelmingly peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters versus that which we saw yesterday.”

Gee, how surprising that another police force colludes with right wing terrorists, and the media bemoans that one of the miscreants gets killed. Why do right wing extremists always get mollycoddled? They aren't even closet authoritarians, they love Donnie-boy, the wannabe autocrat. Anti-patriotism is their game. charge 'em all with sedition. And if they don't end up with 70 year sentences, well that's good ole white supremacy at work. Can't say that the government ain't racist.

CapitalOne provides misleading information on their website

 Well, this time, I have new info about dishonest corporations. I went on the CapitalOne website to make a payment on my credit card. As you can see, the date of the transaction is 11/8 and the webpage clearly states my payment is not due until tomorrow, 11/9 at 8 pm ET. Look further down the page and see that they’ve charged me a late fee. And in a really small typeface, they give the due date as 11/7. I called CapitalOne and they insisted that the due date was 11/7. They finally relented and credited me back the $27 late fee after a 17 minute phone call. And they refused to take responsibility for the bogus information on their website, that’s what got me pissed off. CapitalOne is like most large corporations, unethical.

 According to the Wall Street Journal: Fox’s Dobbs, Bartiromo and Pirro Ask Court to Dismiss Defamation Suit Cable-news hosts say they were covering and commenting on newsworthy claims Why do fake journalists resort to lies and other "alternative facts" when they should provably know the false narrative is only their attempt to placate their radical audience? The only thing the far right wing media knows to do is to deflect blame. So much for personal responsibility that the far right espouses. The far right never accepts responsibility, it only demands others to follow the rules they set.

Officially Hot

 Well, it’s officially hot here in Las Vegas. I was sitting outside reading a geek book on my ipad and the ipad gave up the ghost. The screen showed some graphic and said the ipad had to cool down before it could be used more. The thermometer says its 112 at 2 pm. I guess its time to revert to physical books, at least they don’t overheat at temperatues seen here in Vegas.
