Criminals Will Be Forever Criminals

 well, Tom Cotton has proven is Nazi leanings. According to the New York Times says:


Speaking on the Senate floor, Mr. Cotton said that Ms. Haines had clarified that she had no intention of reopening old investigations or retroactively exposing intelligence officers to criminal prosecution.

“She’s confirmed that in the written record,” Mr. Cotton said. “I’m glad to see we’re not going to reopen that period. I want to thank Ms. Haines for providing the answer.”


this confirms that criminals in the intelligence services will remain unpunished.

 Well, this time, I have new info about dishonest corporations. I went on the CapitalOne website to make a payment on my credit card. As you can see, the date of the transaction is 11/8 and the webpage clearly states my payment is not due until tomorrow, 11/9 at 8 pm ET. Look further down the page and see that they’ve charged me a late fee. And in a really small typeface, they give the due date as 11/7. I called CapitalOne and they insisted that the due date was 11/7. They finally relented and credited me back the $27 late fee after a 17 minute phone call. And they refused to take responsibility for the bogus information on their website, that’s what got me pissed off. CapitalOne is like most large corporations, unethical.

The only thing the far right wing media knows to do is to deflect blame. So much for personal responsibility that the far right espouses. The far right never accepts responsibility, it only demands others to follow the rules they set.

Officially Hot

 Well, it’s officially hot here in Las Vegas. I was sitting outside reading a geek book on my ipad and the ipad gave up the ghost. The screen showed some graphic and said the ipad had to cool down before it could be used more. The thermometer says its 112 at 2 pm. I guess its time to revert to physical books, at least they don’t overheat at temperatues seen here in Vegas.
