Here Come the Nazis


Well, Fascism is on the rise. According to the New York Times Wednesday Evening Briefing:

3. President Trump has declared meatpacking plants “critical infrastructure” but how that might keep them running remains unclear. Above, a Detroit butcher.
The emergency declaration, signed by the president late Tuesday, could allow the Department of Agriculture to potentially force meat companies to fulfill orders from retailers. The order fails to address whether the plants, where outbreaks of the virus have sickened thousands of workers, would be required to test all of their workers for the virus before reopening.
Separately, conservative groups planning lawsuits against state and local lockdown orders have seen signs of support from a powerful ally: the Justice Department.

The Trump Administration is rapidly tilting the Federal Government to fascism. The Constitution limits Federal power, But the Orange Nazi is grabbing more and more unconstitutionally mandated powers. The Justice Department, run by a deep state Fascist, has no business interfering in state lockdowns and the  Fascist “conservative” groups are all funded by the same corrupt cabal that have been twisting the American experience into a Fascist nightmare.

I’m all for subjecting people with Covid-19 symptoms a questionnaire inquiring as to their isolation, denying care if the person failed to protect themselves. Fascists promoting anti lockdown measures aren’t liberty loving individuals, they’re self-serving nutcases that deserve the Darwin Awards fate they so deserve.

CapitalOne provides misleading information on their website

 Well, this time, I have new info about dishonest corporations. I went on the CapitalOne website to make a payment on my credit card. As you can see, the date of the transaction is 11/8 and the webpage clearly states my payment is not due until tomorrow, 11/9 at 8 pm ET. Look further down the page and see that they’ve charged me a late fee. And in a really small typeface, they give the due date as 11/7. I called CapitalOne and they insisted that the due date was 11/7. They finally relented and credited me back the $27 late fee after a 17 minute phone call. And they refused to take responsibility for the bogus information on their website, that’s what got me pissed off. CapitalOne is like most large corporations, unethical.

 According to the Wall Street Journal: Fox’s Dobbs, Bartiromo and Pirro Ask Court to Dismiss Defamation Suit Cable-news hosts say they were covering and commenting on newsworthy claims Why do fake journalists resort to lies and other "alternative facts" when they should provably know the false narrative is only their attempt to placate their radical audience? The only thing the far right wing media knows to do is to deflect blame. So much for personal responsibility that the far right espouses. The far right never accepts responsibility, it only demands others to follow the rules they set.

Officially Hot

 Well, it’s officially hot here in Las Vegas. I was sitting outside reading a geek book on my ipad and the ipad gave up the ghost. The screen showed some graphic and said the ipad had to cool down before it could be used more. The thermometer says its 112 at 2 pm. I guess its time to revert to physical books, at least they don’t overheat at temperatues seen here in Vegas.
