Trumpty Dumpty’s Latest Fiasco


So, based on an article from the New York Times, the reason Trump is illegally withholding the WHOs funding is that

But U.S. officials said there was near-unanimous agreement among the president’s advisers that the W.H.O., the U.N.’s public health arm, was too heavily influenced by the Chinese government and was too slow to sound the alarm about the coronavirus.

There’s only one problem, Trumpty Dumpty’s advisors are all unqualified rubes whose only qualifications are they’re all evil 👿  far right conspiracy theorists. I mean, one is a PhD in (I think) economics who read a few studies and is now a epidemiologist. Probably got his “degree” from a diploma mill.

And that agreement is based on the fact that the Trumpty Dumpty administration spent 6 weeks ignoring the WHO pronouncements. And actively downplaying any reasonable actions taken by people with a brain, like government officials in Washington and California.

Trump should stand trial for first degree murder. Hanged, drawn, and quartered is a reasonable remedy. Along with his “advisors”.

 Well, this time, I have new info about dishonest corporations. I went on the CapitalOne website to make a payment on my credit card. As you can see, the date of the transaction is 11/8 and the webpage clearly states my payment is not due until tomorrow, 11/9 at 8 pm ET. Look further down the page and see that they’ve charged me a late fee. And in a really small typeface, they give the due date as 11/7. I called CapitalOne and they insisted that the due date was 11/7. They finally relented and credited me back the $27 late fee after a 17 minute phone call. And they refused to take responsibility for the bogus information on their website, that’s what got me pissed off. CapitalOne is like most large corporations, unethical.

The only thing the far right wing media knows to do is to deflect blame. So much for personal responsibility that the far right espouses. The far right never accepts responsibility, it only demands others to follow the rules they set.

Officially Hot

 Well, it’s officially hot here in Las Vegas. I was sitting outside reading a geek book on my ipad and the ipad gave up the ghost. The screen showed some graphic and said the ipad had to cool down before it could be used more. The thermometer says its 112 at 2 pm. I guess its time to revert to physical books, at least they don’t overheat at temperatues seen here in Vegas.
